At Nurture Roots Foundation, our Street2School Scheme is dedicated to transforming the lives of underprivileged out-of-school children in Nigeria, with a special focus on orphans. Through this initiative, we identify children in need, send them to school, and closely track their academic and personal development. New Sponsorship Model

It now costs only £10 monthly (or the equivalent in your local currency) to sponsor a child.

We highly encourage setting up recurring monthly payments to help sustain a child’s continuous education and support throughout the year.

🤝 In Collaboration with AHYEL

In partnership with our technology partner AHYEL, we have launched a pilot of the Street2School Guardian Application — a digital platform designed to enhance tracking, mentoring, and child support. Watch the project video here

Please note: This application is not included in the £10 sponsorship cost. It is currently being piloted in two villages, with an official launch planned for 2026 following successful testing.

Your monthly support helps cover:

• Tuition/Other school fees

• Uniforms, shoes, and essential school items

• Books and learning materials

• Nutritious daily lunch for every school day

How Does the Scheme Work?

1. Child Identification: We prioritize orphans and underprivileged children, selecting those most in need of educational support.

2. Sponsorship: Donors can choose to sponsor a child on an annual basis or contribute monthly, ensuring the child’s full academic year is covered.

3. Progress Tracking: We believe in accountability. Our team tracks the child’s progress throughout the school year, ensuring they receive the support they need to excel.

4. Mentorship: Beyond academics, we pair children with mentors who can guide and inspire them to achieve their full potential. As a donor, you have the option to be directly involved in mentoring the child you sponsor.

• Become a Donor: Sponsor a child for just £10 monthly or an annual contribution.

• Become a Mentor: Help shape the future of a child by becoming a mentor, offering guidance, and providing encouragement.

• Or Both: You can sponsor and mentor, creating a deep connection with the child’s journey.
  

Progress Updates

We keep our donors informed with regular progress updates. You’ll receive insights into how your sponsored child is progressing in school and any notable milestones in their educational journey.
